Funeral for Barbara Ann Morrison Key, 55, of Elkmont will be Friday, January 1, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Rick Craft officiating.
Burial will be in Myers Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Key, who died Monday, December 28, 2009, was born August 4, 1954, in Virginia. She was a graduate of Samford University, Birmingham, and was Director of Food Service at Athens-Limestone Hospital. She was a loving wife and mother and was of the Christian faith. She was preceded in death by her mother, Billie June Acton Meads; and her father-in-law, Norman David Key.
Survivors include her husband, David P. Key; daughter, Amy Michelle Key of Elkmont; father, Allen Walker Morrison and his wife, Jonelle, of Newberry, S.C.; sister, Dianna Lynn Beacham and her husband, Worth, of Greenville, N.C.; brother, Allen Walker Morrison Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth, of Stafford, Va.; and her mother-in-law, Naomi Goodin Key of Elkmont.
Pallbearers will be Alton Nix, Jimmy Butler, Steve Green, Jesse LeCroix, Jeff Bradford, James Rouse and Ronnie Nordin.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Neely, Jake Neely and Benjamin Reeves.
Memorials may be made to the Athens-Limestone Hospital Foundation or the Good Samaritan Fund at Athens Limestone Hospital.
