Jennings: A mass of Christian burial for Evelyn LeBeouf, 59, will be held at St. Jules Catholic Church in Tee-Mamou on Wednesday, December 30th at 11:00 AM with Father Ted Broussard officiating. She was called to her Heavenly Father from her home in Evangeline on Christmas Eve. Visitation will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Jennings on Tuesday, Dec. 29th from 3:30 PM until 10:00 PM and will resume on Wednesday at 8:00 AM until the time of her service. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM on Tuesday. Mrs. LeBeouf will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Ruston, in St. Jules Cemetery.
Evelyn was born in Jennings, La to the late Morris & Eva Bergeaux Miller on June 23, 1950. She was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family. She was a very kind and loving person and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Leaving behind to cherish her memories are her beloved children, Robert (Elizabeth) Johnson of Evangeline, and Jennifer Belaire of Jennings; one brother, Aulden "Blackie" Miller of Iota; one sister, Barbara Chapman of Jennings; two beautiful grandchildren, Brittany & Colleen Johnson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents; and her beloved husband, Ruston LeBeouf
