Porter B. Hood was the son of William C. and Nancy Hood; he was a Justice of Peace; was married (1st) Mary E. Lawson in 1887 buried Spring River Cemetery, (2nd) to Della May Rhine in 1904; and died in his residence at 36 W. Olive in Aurora, Mo. of encephalitis.
