Otto A Jaschob, 92, a former Kiel resident and a resident of Willowdale Nursing Home in New Holstein for five years, died Sunday morning at St. Nicholas Hospital where he had been a patient for four days. He was born September 4, 1890, in Kiel, son of Carl and Wilhelmina Grummisch Jaschob. He attended school in Kiel. Mr. Jaschob served with the US Army in Europe during World War I. He married Erna Wendling on May 9, 1925, in Kiel, where the couple resided following marriage. Mrs. Jaschob died in 1979. Mr. Jaschob was employed at AA Laun Furniture Co. in Kiel until his retirement in 1956. He was a member of St. Peter UCC in Kiel.
Mr. Jaschob is survived by nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death b y one daughter, four brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, at Meiselwitz Funeral Home in Kiel. The Rev. John Baumann, pastor of St. Peter UCC, will officiate. Burial will be in Kiel cemetery.
