BROOKSTON, IN -- Allean C. Hutson Yount, 87, of Inverness, Fla., formerly of Brookston, died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006, in Florida.
Born July 25, 1919, in Brookston to the late Earl M. and Catherine C. Utley Hutson, she was a 1938 graduate of Brookston High School.
Her marriage was to Kenneth Yount in 1966 in Florida. He died in 1984.
Mrs. Yount was employed with Sears Roebuck in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., for 20 years before retiring.
She was a volunteer at the Inverness Community Center for 20 years, was a member of the Hernando Civic Club and a Pink Lady with the Citrus Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
Surviving are a son, Terry Yount of Moultrie, Ga.; a daughter, Patricia Beck of Inverness; and a brother, Ed Hutson (wife: Dottie) of Brookston. Services were in Florida.
