He is survived by his son, Jayden Rogers; grandmothers, Mary Ruth Mayes Rogers, Velma Newson (David) Shrum; sisters, Jennifer (Jason) Layne and Erin (Jameson) Fults; brother, William T. Newson Jr.; stepfather, Tommy (Shirley) Newson; uncles, Jimmy (Cindy) and John (Stacy) Rogers; niece, Kendal Newson; nephew, Will Layne.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. CST today in the funeral home chapel with Minister Clayton Jones officiating with burial to follow in Palmer Cemetery.
