Ann Marie Adams , 45, of East Noble Street, Nanticoke died Saturday at Penn State Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Plains Township. Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Helen Groszewski.
She was a life resident of Nanticoke.
She was a graduate of Nanticoke High School, class of 1971, and Bloomsburg University, class of 1975, where she received a bachelor of science degree in elementary education.
She was employed as an elementary school teacher for Pope John Paul II for approximately 12 years, retiring in November, 1996, due to health problems.
She was a member of St. Stanislaus Church, Nanticoke.
Surviving are her husband, Robert a son and daughter both at home.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday from the Grontkowski Funeral Home P.C., 51-53 W. Green St., Nanticoke, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Church.
Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
The Rosary will be recited at 2:45 p.m. today by the Rev. Joseph Kakereka, pastor of St. Stanislaus Church.
