"Married Fifty Years.
NORTH MANCHESTER. Ind.,
Nov. 26 —More than sixty people visited the home of Reuben Moyer and wife yesterday afternoon and evening, calling there to help them celebrate their golden wedding anniversary. Many gifts and beautiful flowers were brought in to Mr. and Mrs. Moyer. Mr. Moyer in speaking of the fifty years ago says the two days were just as pleasant as yesterday and today. He and Mrs. Moyer have always been looked upon as an uncle and aunt to the whole North Manchester community, and their marriage fifty years ago was looked upon as a sort of a community affair. The evening following the marriage the whole town united in a big supper that was spread in the Bussard hotel, now the Sheller hotel."
