Mrs. Daisy Allmon Woolley, 115 Washington St., wife of Harry T. Woolley, died this morning at 4:30am at her home following an illness of several years. She was 71. She was born in Parkersburg May 24, 1890, to John V. Morgan and Frances Miller Morgan and resided in this area 45 years. She was employed as a utility worker in the decorating department of the Homer Laughlin China Co. for 14 years, retiring about seven years ago. She was a member of the Boyce Methodist Church and IBOP Local 124. She was married first to George J. Allmon on Oct. 6, 1911, and he died Sept. 13, 1946. In addition to her husband, whom she married May 1, 1953,she leaves a son, George H. Allmon: daughter, Mrs. John (Irene) Snyder and a brother, Charles Morgan, all of East Liverpool; a sister Mrs. Ethel Mountz of Marietta. and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday at 2 P.M. at the Martin Funeral by the Rev. William Mautz, pastor of the Empire Methodist Church. Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday evening.
