Dennis was a fighter pilot and navigator, flying the F-111 aircraft during his career in the U.S. Air Force. He retired as a Major after serving over 20 years. Dennis was a Corvette enthusiast and a skilled craftsman who loved woodworking. He was presently employed at TYBRIN Corporation.
Survivors include his wife, Esther Watson of Crestview; his mother, Imogene Westervelt, also of Crestview; and a sister, Lee Loren Pratt, and her husband, Michael, of Upper Lake, Calif.
