Otto F Peetz, 80, formerly of 145 S 2nd St, Rogers City, died on Sunday, July 17th, at the Presque Isle Extended Care Facility.
Born in Presque Isle County, Bismarck Township, on February 28, 1903, Mr Peetz was engaged in farming on the family homestead until his retirement. His marriage to Edith Horn took place in June of 1931. She preceded him in death in 1964. His second wife, the former Dorothy McNeil, passed away in 1981.
Mr Peetz is survived by his son, William, of Carsonville, and one daughter, Marie Roberts of Port Huron; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Otto F Peetz were held at St James Lutheran Church, Moltke, at 2:00pm, Tuesday, July 19, 1983, conducted by the Rev David Vinceguerra. Interment was in the Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Bill Freel, George Freel, Earl Freel, John Freel, Art Freel, and Ron Freel.
