CALDWELL — Funeral services for Tallcott L. Bollman, 85, Notus, who died Monday at his home, will be conducted at the Peckham-Dakan Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Robert A. Reed of Boone Memorial Presbyterian Church will officiate, and Mt. Moriah Lodge No. 39, AF & AM will conduct the interment rites at Canyon Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Bollman was born Nov. 21, 1880, in Castalia, Iowa, and attended grade and high schools and business college at Decorah, Iowa. He came to Idaho in 1922 and farmed northwest of Notus until be retired and moved into Notus.
He was a veteran of World War I and served in France for a year. He married Hazel Marie Redmond, who died in 1925 in Caldwell.
He was a member of Boone Memorial Presbyterian Church, Mt. Moriah Masonic Lodge, of which he was chaplain for 15 years, was a 32nd degree Mason in the Scottish Rite Bodies, and had received a 50-year Masonic pin. He was a former member and past master of Brotherly Postville, Iowa. He also was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and of the American Legion, of which he had been a member for 32 years.
Surviving are four brothers, Fenton E. Bollman, Caldwell, S. Ferrel Bollman, Notus, E.O. Bollman, San Francisco, and Vives Bollman, Castalia, Iowa; and a sister, Mrs. Vera A. Post, Spokane, Wash.
