Marie Louise Natalie Speicher 86, Indianapolis. She was born on January 31, 1922 and passed away on November 11, 2008. Marie lived the majority of her life in Indianapolis and was very proud of her city. She loved to tour the grounds of Butler University, where her oldest son, Phillip J. Speicher attended. She and her youngest son, Michael A. Speicher enjoyed strolling the canal area and driving around Eagle Creek. She adored her granddaughters, Leslie and Shannan and her daughter-in-law, Win Speicher. For many years she traveled the country representing the Hearst Corp. in sales and marketing. After, her entrepreneurial spirit drove her to begin her own business in magazine sales; she always found a way to make ends meet, even in hard times. In recent years, she enjoyed winning bingo and creating notecards with her friends at Marquette Manor. She was an avid Colts, Pacers and Cubs Fan! Marie is also survived by her sisters, Natalie Tripp and Dorothy Schaut and many other friends and family members. Marie loved all animals so donations may be made in her name to the Indianapolis Humane Society. A celebration of Marie's life will be held at Marquette Manor on Sunday, November 16, 2008 at 4p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Crown Hill Funeral Home.
