Man Walks Out Of 'Assassin' Film, Kills Self

Indianapolis (AP) - A 53-year-old Indianapolis theatrical executive walked out of a private showing of "The Assassin" and was shot to death in a cloakroom Monday night.
Police said the death of Albert R. Blocher, buyer for the Y. and W. Management Corp., apparently was suicide. They said a note saying he intended to kill himself because of financial difficulties was found at his home. The shooting occurred at the Universal-International Pictures, Inc. A projectionist, Harold C. Braun Sr., 52, told police he heard the shot and found Blocher with the bullet wound in the head and a pistol in his hand. Blocher's wife, who was watching the film with other guests, did not know of her husband's death until the picture ended 20 minutes later. (Contributor: Angels A-Far 47320339)
