Eli Allison Floyd, 84, longtime resident of Hall County, passed away Sunday night, Dec. 7, in Hall County Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Floyd were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, in Spicer Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Truman Boyd, pastor of the Lakeview First Baptist Church, and Rev. Ricky Skaggs, pastor of Brice First Baptist Church, officiating
Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Lakeview under the direction of Spicer Funeral Home.
Eli A. Floyd was born Oct. 5, 1885, in Cooke County and moved to Hall County in 1923. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include: his wife, Elvira of Lakeview; two sons, Dalton and Woodrow, both of Lakeview; two daughters, Mrs. Allen Henry of Lakeview and Mrs. Aubrey Martin of Brice; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Pall bearers were grandsons, Ronny Martin, Ronnie Davis, Macky McWhirton, Dwaine Floyd, Dwight Floyd and Dean Butcher.
