Lakeview Burial Held Tuesday For Chas. F. Campbell

Funeral services for Charles Franklin Campbell, 43, of Plano were held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, in the Travis Baptist Church here.

The Rev. James Henry, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the IOOF Cemetery at Lakeview under the direction of Spicer Funeral Home.

Graveside military rites were conducted by members of the American Legion, Simmons-Noel Post in Memphis.

Mr. Campbell died Sunday morning in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Dallas. A painter, Mr. Campbell was working in Dallas at the time of his death.

Born Dec. 22, 1926, in Hall County near Plaska, Mr. Campbell lived in Lakeview until 1963 and moved to Plano a year ago. He was member of the Baptist Church, a World War II veteran and a member of the Simmons-Noel American Legion Post of Memphis.

Survivors include: his mother, Mrs. John F. Campbell of Iowa Park; one sister, Mrs. Virginia Cromwell of Plano; and his grandmother, Mrs. Jim Campbell of Amarillo.

Pall bearers were S.E. Crawford, L.F. Jones, V.C. Anderson, Royce Frisbie, O.T. Hook and Carrol Gardenhire.
