Turner and wheelwright. At age ten he moved from Middletown Twp. to Solebury Twp., Bucks Co. Disowned on 1 Feb. 1713 for disunity at Falls MM, Penn. In 1726 he was willed 60 acres of his father's land. William Scarborough's Will wr. 27 Apr. 1727, naming his 2nd wife, Mary Scarborough, and his children, pv. 24 Sep. 1727 at Doylestown, Bucks Co., Penn. (ref: R. S. Boone, 1991)

William Scarborough's sister, Sarah Scarborough married George Haworth and became the founders of the Haworth family in America. Several Haworth descendants later intermarried with Longshore descendants.
