WILLIAM F. COMER VAN CAMP OFFICIAL
William F. Comer, 82, former executive secretary of Van Camp Hardware & Iron Company, died yesterday in a nursing home.
He retired from Van Camp, five years ago, after having been associated with the company 35 years
He had been a resident of the nursing home at 2262 Central three years.
Comer was a member of Calvin W. Prather Masonic Lodge, Royal Arch Masons, Raper Commandery of Knights Templar, Scottish Rite, and Shrine and the Columbia Club.
Services will be at 10 AM Saturday in Flanner and Buchanan Fall Creek Mortuary.
Survivors include the widow, Jessie F. Comer; a son, William F. Comer Jr., Chicago, and a stepson, Elmer H. Ostermeyer, Indianapolis.
