KAYSVILLE--Hazel Annalee Wood Evans, age 72, passed away peacefully in her home Easter Sunday, April 11, 1993.
Born October 30, 1920 in Sacramento, California, daughter of Jessie and Francis Wood. Married James W. Evans February 25, 1940; marriage solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple September 17, 1954. He passed away January 24, 1985. Hazel was a convert to the LDS Church in 1951. She attended the temple often..
Hazel loved to travel. She loved her family and friends. She was an accomplished seamstress.
Surviving are three sons, James W. II and Cindy Evans, San Jose Calif.; Richard L. and Claudia Evans, Centerville; Gary Leroy Evans, Salt Lake City; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister, Ted Wood, Graeagle, Calif.; Jessie Rose, Sacramento, Calif.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11 a.m., at the Farmington Oakridge 1st LDS Chapel, 1282 West 1875 North, Farmington. Friends may call Wednesday, from 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main, Kaysville, and Thursday, at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, Centerville City Cemetery.
