DEATH OF MRS. PRISCILLA BACON

WELL KNOWN WOMAN AND OLD RESIDENT PASSES AWAY AT CEVELAND, OHIO

Mrs Priscilla M. Bacon, widow of the late Hiram Bacon, and mother of Mrs. Carrie Walker, died Tuesday, at the home of her grand daughter, Mrs. Mark S. Moffett, of Cleveland, Ohio.

Mrs. Bacon has been a resident of Hancock county, for the last half century. Before coming to Greenfield the family resided near Morristown, at the site of what was known as the old Bacon mill, on Blue River. As Mr. Bacon grew older, he declined in health and the family moved to Greenfield, where Mr. Bacon died, and where Mrs. Bacon has made her home the greater part of the time since her husband's death several years ago.

Mrs. Bacon is well known here by all the older citizens. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Walker and Mrs. W. T. Jerkins, of California and a number of grandchildren.

The funeral arrangements will be announced later. The body will arrive here Thursday.
