Sprague, Wash.--Thomas Fitzwater, an old-time resident of this city and a veteran of the civil war, died at his home here Sept. 18 of paralysis. Mr. Fitzwater was born 70 years ago in Ohio, and located in the Sprague country in 1890, coming from Indiana.

A widow and two children survive him. The children are Mrs. Awilda Sirginson of Sprague and Harry Fitzwater of Everett.
