Mrs. Martha D. Glasgow of 807 Mount Vernon Avenue, Huntingdon died Sunday, April 9, 1972, at 3:30 a.m. in the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon where she had been a patient since March 11. She was ill for the past six weeks.

Mrs. Glasgow was born in Huntingdon County on November 12, 1891. She was eighty years old at the time of her death.

She was united in marriage to John E. Glasgow on February 8, 1913. He preceded her in death March 21, 1956.

Surviving are three children: Mrs. Ralph (Bertha) Dell of Mapleton; Carey Glasgow of Huntingdon and Mrs. Lawrence (Mary) Gerhart of Lisburn.

There are ten grandchildren and 15 great-granchildren surviving. She was the last of her immediate family.

The deceased was of the Methodist faith.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 11, at 2 p.m. from the Clark funeral home, Mount Union. The Rev. Golden A. Gaither will officiate and interment will be made in the Atkinsons Mills Methodist Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 o’clock tonight and on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the hour of the services.
