Whit married AMERICA E "MARY" JACKSON 25 Mar 1894 in Pocahontas, Randolph County, Arkansas.
Mary was born 08 Dec 1875 in Randolph County, Arkansas, daughter of ANDREW J and MARTHA CATHERINE (BROWN) JACKSON, and died 11 Apr 1899 in Pocahontas, Randolph County, Arkansas.

• FRED GOING, born 07 Jan 1895 in Hamil, Randolph County, Arkansas and died 05 Apr 1969 in Sun City, Maricopa County, Arizona.
• INFANT SON GOING, born 09 Nov 1896 in Pocahontas, Randolph County, Arkansas; and died 13 Mar 1897 in Pocahontas, Randolph County, Arkansas.
Whit went to his rest 18 Dec 1910 in Hamilton, Okmulgee County, Oklahoma.

Whit Going Dead
J. W. and Charley Going returned Monday from Okmulgee, Okla., where they went the latter part of last week in answer to a telegram announcing the serious illness of their younger brother, Whit Going.
They arrived at Okmulgee Saturday morning and found their brother very low. He died at an early hour Sunday, the immediate cause of his death being pneumonia.
Mr. Going was well known in this county, he having resided here until about four years ago.
