Dorothy Endres was born March 24, 1928, in Madison County, Iowa, to Allen and Leone (Duff) Farwell and was a 1946 graduate of Greenfield High School. Her marriage to Lloyd H. Endres took place July 24, 1948. Dorothy worked as a housekeeper for several years. She also worked for the Adair County Hospital for over 20 years. She was a member of the PTA and American Legion Auxiliary, both of Greenfield, and the Church of the Nazarene in Winterset.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a brother, Raymond Farwell; two sisters, Inez Bennett and Charlotte Forsyth; and one great-grandchild, Victoria Taylor.
She is survived by her children — Freda Scanlan of Massena and Mickey Jameson and Dotty Teas, both of Winterset; a sister, LaVaun Wright of Stuart; and 11 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
