Funeral services were held at the Megrue Funeral Home Friday afternoon for Hugh Hensley, a long time Superior resident. He died at Brodstone Memorial Hospital Tuesday, Jan 31.
Mr. Hensley was born in Manchester, Ky. on Feb. 1, 1855. He was a retired North Western Railway man. Mr. Hensley was a member of the First Methodist Church and of the Golden Age Club in the church.
Survivors include his wife, the former Bessie Jarvis; four daughters, Mrs. Orah McDonald, Mrs.Marie Barnard, Mrs. Vivian Wilford and Mrs. Ann Guise, all of Olympia, Wash.; three sons, Ralph Hensley of Richmond, Ind., Robert Hensley of Portland Ore. and Max Hensley of Kimball, Neb.; 32 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
A son, Carl, and a daughter, Nellie, preceded him in death.
Rev. Robert Favre officiated and interment was in Evergreen Cemetery.
