A gravedside service has been scheduled for Billy Jack Cason, 78, Vivian, Louisiana, formerly of Athens, for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, Shelby Chapel Cemetery, Mark Eakin will officiate, under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home.

Mr. Cason passed away Wednesday November 30, 2005 in Vivian Louisiana after a lengthy illness.

He was born September 14, 1927 in Chandler to the late James Oscar & Audrey V. Johnston Cason.

He retired from Texas Industries and Athens Caddo Brick in Mooringsport, Louisiana. He was also a veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served in the United States Army.

Survviors include his wife of 52 years, Eulala Willingham Cason of Vivian, Louisiana and four daughters, Billie Springer, Rita Moore, Katie Singletary and Mollie Millen, ten grandchildren, an five great grandchildren.
