Mrs. James (Gladys) Fagan died at her home, 1012 Scenic Drive, in Gatesville on Sept. 22. She was 80 and had been in failing health for two years.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Scott's Funeral Home chapel and were conducted by Bro. Bill Dodd and Rev. Bob Evans. Burial was in Restland Cemetery.
Daughter of the late John and Mollie Fry, Mrs. Fagan was born in Coryell County Feb. 8, 1902. She was reared in the Antelope community and attended school at Clear Creek.
She was married to James Fagan in 1919, and most of their married life was spent in Coryell County and in Anson.
Mrs. Fagan was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; one son, James Ronald Fagan of Austin; two brothers, Leland Fry of Coleman and Crawford DeLano of Heidenheimer; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers for Mrs. Fagan's funeral were Ray Sommerfeld, Jack Fry, Richard Fry, Roy Snoddy, Kenneth Fry and Larry Fry.
