Dan G. Cross, 74, of Gatesville died March 29 at Coryell Memorial Hospital.
Services were held March 31 at Scott's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Plez Todd and Rev. Lloyd Sansom officiating.
Burial was in the Restland Cemetery.
Born April 22, 1914 in Flat, he was the son of the late P.M. and Bertha Bell Cross. He was raised and attended school at Flat
He married Treva Campbell March 16, 1934. He and his wife made their home in Flat all of their life.
He was a farmer and rancher in the Flat area for many years.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Gatesville.
Survivors include: his wife; one daughter, Sandra Sherwood of Gatesville; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Mayberry of Gatesville and Mrs. Joy Robinson of Georgetown; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
