J.C. Buster, 81, of Gatesville died May 19 at Coryell Memorial Hospital.
Services were held May 20 at Scott's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Crosby officiating. Burial was in the Restland Cemetery.
Born June 1,1907 in Coryell County, he was the son of the late John and Molly Buster. He attended school in the Harmony community. He married Gladys Culp March 16, 1926. She preceded him in death March 19, 1979.
He had been a farmer in Coryell County all of his life.
He was a member of the Mountain Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by one daughter, LaCelia Ann Logan, Jan. 21,1982.
Survivors include: four daughters, Janet Dyer, Vera Ayers, Lillie Ayres and Marcia Cockrell, all of Gatesville; five sons, Tom Buster of Llano, Joe Buster of Spring, Johnnie Buster of Elm Mott, Clyde Buster of Belton and Calvin Buster of Belton; one sister, Winnie Woodley of Austin; 41 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and 12 foster children.
Pallbearers at the funeral were his grandsons.
