Mrs. Alois Nytes, 51, of 819 Lincoln Ave., died Saturday at St. Nicholas Hospital after being in ill health since 1948.
Nee Anita Kirsch, she was born Feb. 15, 1904, in the town of Herman, a daughter of the late Frank and Christina Hensen Nytes.
Her marriage to Alois Nytes of Sheboygan was solemnized in Holy Name Church on Sept. 26, 1928, by the late Rt. Rev. Msgr. Philipp Dreis.
Mrs. Nytes was an active member of St. Dominic's Catholic Church and the Christian Mother's Society of the parish.
Survivors are her husband; two sons, Jerome of the Gray Air Force Base in Texas, and James of Sheboygan; three daughters, Mrs. Donald (Juanita) Nitsch, Sheboygan, and Misses Joanne and Judith, at home; three grandchildren; four brothers, Jacob, Harry, Frank and Nic Kirsch, of Sheboygan, and two sisters, Sister Mary Oswalda, O.S.F., of St. Joseph's Convent, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Joseph Schmidbauer of Sheboygan.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Dominic's Church, following brief rites at 9 a.m. at Robert H. Kroos Funeral Home. Rev. William Weishaupl, pastor, will be the celebrant of the requiem high mass. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
The body will lie in state at the funeral home until the hour of services.
Members of the Christian Mothers Society of St. Dominic's parish will hold a vigil at the funeral home at 8 o'clock this evening. Father Weishaupl will lead the rosary.
