Brian was a life long sports fan. He played Pop Warner football and continued his love for the sport through graduation from Westwood High School. He attended Scottsdale Community College and later had a tryout with the Seattle Seahawks. Brian later relocated to Birmingham in 1998. There he excelled as a youth football coach.
Brian enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, reading newspapers and weightlifting.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Williams and Annette Harrell.
Memories linger with his wife, Stacey Hankins; two daughters, Nicole(Eric), and Eva; two sons, Brian Jr. and Beau; and two granchildren, Eric and Camron.
He is also survived by siblings on his mother's side, Paula, Charlene, Jeanett, Dewayne and Terri Harrell; siblings on his father's side, Wanda, Alice, Warren Jr., Deborah and Christy Hankins; and a host of other relatives, including nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation Monday December 28th 6-8 p.m., at Mt Calvary Baptist Church 1720 E. Broadway Rd. Mesa. Funeral service Tuesday December 29th 11:00 a.m. at Mt Calvary B.C. Interment at Mesa Cemetery. Preston Funeral Home serving the family.
