LaVere L. Mitchell, age 59, died April 25, 1990 while hospitalized in Salt Lake City, Utah.


Born November 5, 1930 in Salt Lake City, the son of LeRoy L. and Ivy Larsen Mitchell.


Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was employed for many years with various construction companies in Utah and was a member of the Carpenters Union. He loved golfing and fishing. His sweet and gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew him.


Survived by one daughter and three sons, Andrea Gempiler, Steven, Marty and Darrin Mitchell; one grandson; mother, Ivy; two sisters and two brothers: Kathleen Johnson, Sharee Lopez, and Grant and Joe Mitchell, all of Salt Lake City.


Graveside Services will be held on Monday, April 30, 1990 at 1:00 p.m. in the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Avenue & N Street. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple Street, on Sunday evening from 6:00-8;00 p.m. and Monday from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
