Boonville — Miss Betty Smith, who lived near Hawkinsville, died early this morning in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital Utica, where she had been a patient since Feb. 2.
She was born on the Smith homestead farm near Hawkinsville, a daughter of Henry and Barbara Diderick Smith and with here brothers and sister, operated the family farm for years.
Miss Smith is survived by a sister, Miss Alice Smith and a brother, Fred Smith, both of Hawkinsville and a nephew, Robert Brooks, Boonville. Another brother, Henry died Feb. 27. Watertown Daily Times, Wednesday, March 20, 1968
