Ralph Wrigley Fulton and his Twin Brother, Bruce Wrigley Fulton, were born on 07 Mar 1919, in Kenton County, Kentucky, the Twin Sons of Blaine and Hannah (nee Wrigley) Fulton. After Graduating from High School and Completing four years of College, Ralph entered the Service, with the U.S. Army Air Corps on 10 July 1941, at Fort Thomas, Newport, Kentucky. He became a Fighter Pilot, Serving with the U. S. Army Air Corps, 12 th Air Force, 81st Fighter Group, 93rd Fighter Squadron, flying P-39 Airacobra Aircraft, and was stationed in the MTO during WW II. Ralph W. Fulton attained the Rank of 1st Lieutenant. On 25 March 1943, Ralph Wrigley Fulton was Killed In Action Over or Near Tunisia, North Africa. The details of the Mission are Not Known at this Time. His remains were brought back to Erlanger, Kenton County, KY, and He was buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, in Erlanger, Kenton County, KY.

Ralph was survived by his Wife, Joyce (Nee Thomas) Fulton, (Children UNKNOWN), His Parents, Blaine and Hannah Wrigley Fulton, His sisters, Mrs. Edwin C. (Cora Mae Fulton) Gibson; Mrs. Kermit E. (Ruth Virginia Fulton) York; and Mrs. (Anna Lois Fulton) Faulkner; and By His Twin Brother, 1st Lt. Bruce W. Fulton, stationed in the MTO, with the
U. S. Army Air Corps, 12th Air Force, 86th Fighter Group, 527th Fighter Squadron.

The VFW, Post 6423 in Elsmere, Kenton County Kentucky was Named in Ralph's Honor.
History of the 81st FG relating to Ralph W. Fulton's Service:

The 81st Fighter Group was one of the units allocated to support Operation Torch, the Allied invasion of North Africa. Its group echelon landed on 8 November 1942, but the aircraft and pilots didn't begin to arrive until the
end of the year, and the group didn't enter service until January 1943. The group began by supporting the ground troops in Tunisia. Between April and July 1943 it used its P-39s to patrol off the African coast. During this period it provided protection for the invasions of Pantelleria and of Sicily.
