Yale-Fred Adrian, 74, Rogers City, died unexpectedly Wednesday while building a porch at the home of his son, Robert Adrian, 108 Third St. He and Mrs. Adrian had been spending the winter with their son.

Mr. Adrian was born June 25, 1885, in Rogers City to the late Mr. and Mrs. August Adrian. He was a former farmer and harness maker in the Yale and Imlay City areas and owned and operated the Adrian Harness Shop in Imlay City for many years from 1936 until his retirement in 1951.

Mr. Adrian was a member of St John Lutheran Church, Rogers City, and an associate-member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Yale.

Mr. Adrian is survived by his widow; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Sylvia Adrian, Yale; two daughters, Mrs. Cornelia (Charles) Theel, Yale, and Mrs. Alice (Harold) Kegler, Capac; and eight grandchildren.

Mr. Adrian's remains are at the S B Gillian funeral home where prayer services will be held at 9:30pm this evening. Pastor H C Buch, pastor of Redeemer Lutheran Church, will officiate. The remains will be removed Friday to the McWilliams Funeral home, Rogers City, with visitation Friday evening.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday in St John Lutheran Church, Rogers City, with the Rev Louis Linn officiating followed by burial at the Rogers City Memorial Park Cemetery.
