Yale-Mrs. Emma Louise Adrian, 80, died Tuesday in Yale Community Hospital after a month's illness. She had lived the last eight years with her son, Robert Adrian, 108 Third St, Yale.
Mrs. Adrian was born April 7, 1887, in Rogers City, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Horn. She was married to Fred Adrian June 3, 1908. He passed away April 6, 1960.
For many years she and her husband spent summers in their Rogers City home, then came to Yale to spend winters. Mrs. Adrian had lived continuously in Yale since her husband's death.
She was a member of the Emanuel-Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church and its Ladies' Aid.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter Dorothea; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Horn; her sister Edith Peetz and her brother Fred Horn.
Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Sylvia Adrian; two daughters, Mrs. Cornelia (Charles) Theel, Yale; and Mrs. Alice (Harold) Kegler, Capac; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Remains will be taken from the Gillian Funeral Chapel to Emanuel-Redeemer Lutheran Church at 10:00am Thursday for services at 11:00am. Remains will then be taken to McWilliams Funeral Home, Rogers City, for services at 2:00pm Friday. Interment will be in the Rogers City Memorial Park cemetery.
