SILVER WEDDING WEDNESDAY
To Be Celebrated by Mr. and Mrs. J. M. McColloch of Maple Street


Mrs. and Mrs. J. M. McColloch, of 1425 South Maple street, this city, will be Wednesday, tomorrow evening, celebrate their 25th or silver wedding anniversary with a big party. Some 200 guests have been invited, and the event will be an elaborate one.

HANDSOME GIFTS IN SILVER
SHOWERED ON MR. and MRS. McCOLLOCH LAST NIGHT

Occasion Was Their Twenty Fifth Wedding Anniversary and the Event Was a Happy One


Mr. and Mrs. J. J. McColloch very elaborately celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary last night at their home on Wiggins and Maple streets, west of the college. They had fully 150 guests, and the occasion was in every way a happy one, long to be remembered. The lawn was illuminated and seated, and the cozy house interior was appropriately decorated with flowers, palms and silver foil, the figures "25" forming a conspicuous centerpiece where the receiving party stood. This group comprised the honored couple and Mr. and Mrs. A. I. McColloch and daughter, Miss Minnie of Wheeling, W.Va. Misses Daphne McColloch and Cora Blood, were at the door to receive the company, and Miss Edna McColloch presided at the pianola throughout the evening. Misses Maud Obert and Maud Girton served frappe and Mrs. W. N. Wharton was in charge of refreshments served to the guests seated by the members of Mrs. McColloch's Methodist Sunday school class. The evening was a round of pleasure and congratulation. Mr. and Mrs. McColloch were married at Knob Knoster, Mo., August 21, 1878.
