Florence John Dugger, 71, died at his Clinton Route 2 residence at 2:20 am today. A retired coal miner, he had been ill for some time. Mr. Dugger is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Wright of Route 3, West Terre Haute, Mrs. Mary Landsaw of Paris, Mrs. Edith Conley of Clinton, Mrs. Loretta Frost and Mrs. Joanne Rinehart of Route 2 Clinton, Mrs. Grace Jackson of Clinton and Mrs. Lucille Uselman of Route 3 Clinton; a son, Clyde of Valparaiso; one half-brother, Andrew Dugger of Clinton; 25 grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. His wife, Edna Mae, preceded him in death in 1962. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Saturday at the Frist Funeral Home with Rev. Chester Martin officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
