LIBBY - Sarah E. Underwood, 95, of Libby, died Monday, March 13, 2006, at the Libby Care Center.
She was born Jan. 19, 1911, in Buford, N.D., the daughter of Henry and Mary Anne McDonald Hammer.
On Oct. 26, 1931, Sarah married Charlie Underwood.
Survivors include her children, Lois Theonnes of Libby, Vern Underwood of Missoula, Lloyd Underwood of Washington, James Underwood of Troy; a brother, Gerald Hammer of Florida; a sister, Mildred Feeney of Plentywood; 23 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and 21 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 17, at the Assembly of God in Libby. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Thursday.
