Etta Thelma (Boottie) Barclay, 82, of Hillister, TX. went from labor to reward on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Hospice of the Pine in Lufkin, TX. Boottie was born to the late Will McKindley and Arie Lee Baltimore in Warren, TX. She met and married the late Charles R. Barclay and to this union, eight children were born. She was a native of Hillister, Texas and also a member of Little Baptist Missionary Church for many years. Boottie Barclay's celebration of life will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Little Baptist Missionary Baptist Church in Hillister, TX. Rev. Bobby Cruse Pastor, Rev. Ervin Victory officiating. Mother Barclay's final resting place will be at the Hillister Community Cemetery in Hillister, TX. Boottie leaves her loving memories to her daughters, Rosie M. (John) Bean of Hillister, TX, Charlene (Samuel) Gardner of Livingston, TX, Glenora McBride and Thelma (Moses) Foreman, both of Houston, TX, Marilyn (Rick) St. Julius of Port Arthur, TX, Lenora Crew of Kountze, TX and her sons, James R. (Carrie) Barclay of Hillister, TX, Charles A.
