Zakrzewski Rites Held Saturday at Florian Church
Funeral services for Zygmont Zakrzewski, 53, who died suddenly while attending a basketball game at Strandquist last Tuesday evening, were held Saturday at 9:30 a. m. from Assumption Catholic Church at Florian with Rev. Paul Ischler celebrating the requiem mass.
Zygmont Zakrzewski was born to Ignacy and Catherine Zakrzewski on Nov. 19, 1907, at Warren and attended school and grew to manhood in the Florian community. On Oct. 24, 1934, he was united in marriage to Miss Polly Kurowski at Florian and since that time they had resided on a farm in Wright township.
Survivors include his wife, Polly; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Audrey) Randorf of Thief River Falls and Miss Katherine of Strandquist; a son, Eugene Zakrzewski of Strandquist; and one granddaughter. His parents preceded him in death.
Interment was made in the Assumption Church cemetery.
