Irene H. Pott, 91, County D, Abrams, passed away December 21, 2009, after a short illness. Irene was born March 19, 1918, at Abrams to the late Ernest and Emma (Peters) Bohl. She married Norris Pott June 1, 1946, he preceded her in death Nov. 21, 2005. The couple farmed all their lives in the Town of Abrams. Irene was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid at the church.
Irene is survived by a sister, Agnes Maryfield, Fairbanks, Alaska, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Norris; six brothers; George, Louis, Ted, Clarence, Elmer, and Archie; and a sister Myrtle Borowoski.
Friends may call at Calvary Lutheran Church, Abrams from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009. Funeral service will be 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, at the church with Rev. Alan Klessig officiating. Burial will be Thursday at Brookside Cemetery.
