Boyce - Mumm
Mr. James E. Mumm and Miss Lucile Boyce, both of Hubbell, Nebraska were married at the Probate Judge's office in this city today, Judge VanNatta performing the ceremony.

Lucille Mumm, daughter of William Boyce and Mary Etta Craig Boyce, was born on the family farm north of Hubbell on Feb. 13, 1896. She was one of eight children.
She attended the Liberty Ridge country school.
On Feb. 11, 1920, she was united in marriage to James Mumm at Belleville, Kan.
Lucille was a member of the Hebron United Methodist Church and a charter member of the XX Extension Club at Hubbell.
She died after a short illness on Nov. 12, 1988, at the Thayer County Hospital in Hebron.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters.
Survivors are her husband, James, of Hebron; two daughters, Mrs. Ray (Betty) Icenogle of David City and Mrs. Don (Phyllis) Day of Hebron; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 15, at 2 p.m. from the Adams-Tibbetts Funeral Home in Hebron with Rev. Russell Winkler officiating. Pat Hofmann was organist.
Casket bearers were Gary Icenogle, Larry Icenogle, Douglas Day, Steven Day, Michael Olsen and Jerry Hudson.
Burial was at the Chester Cemetery.
Adams-Tibbetts Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
