Mrs. Mildred E. Christian, 86 of Senecaville, died 5 a.m. today (July 17, 1984) at Guernsey Memorial Hospital following an illness. She was born March 21, 1898 in Buffalo, daughter of Edward and Mary Dalrymple Aplin. Mrs. Christian was a retired employee of the Cambridge State Hospital, where she served 20 years as a psychiatric aide. she was a lifelong member of Senecaville Presbyterian Church, a member of Seneca Rebekah Lodge 867 and the American Legion Auxilary, Seneca Lake Unit 747. She leaves one son, Donald Christian of Torrance, Calif.; two daughters, Lois Cantor and Phyllis Denver, both of Cambridge; 23 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willard E. Christian; four sons, three grandsons, one granddaughter, one sister, and one brother. Friends may call 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. Wednesday at Meek Funeral Home in Senecaville, where services will be 1 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Arby Conn officiating. Burial will be in Senecaville Cemetery.
