Martha E. Stalnaker was born in Randolph county, West Va., January 14th, 1858. She was united in marriage to David H. Daniels, September 21, 1879, at the age of 21. They made their home in West Virginia until about 34 years ago, when they came to Idaho where she resided until her death. To this union eleven children were born. Three passing away several years ago.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters and six sons. They are: Mrs. J. M. Candler of Lavina, Montana; Mrs. R. J. Kight of Lenore, Idaho; O. W. of Millwood, Wash; B. L. of Portland, Oregon; R. B. of Gig Harbor, Wash; F. H.; Z. S. and Jesse of Cavendish, also twenty-five grandchildren; three sisters and four brothers, Mrs. Herman Weinmann, Louis and James A. Stalnaker of Ahsahka, John of Southwick, Ira of Lewiston, and two sisters in West Virginia.

Mrs. Daniels was a member of the M. E. church since early girlhood and was also a member of the Rebekah lodge.

Her tombstone reads 1858 but W. Virginia recorded her birth on 14 Jan 1857. The date of 1857 also matches the 1860 census.
