Robert Achor, 52, of
Burlington, died at 6:05 p.m.
Monday at St. Joseph Hospital,
Kokomo. He had been in poor
health for three weeks.
Born Nov. 2, 1923, in Howard
County, he was the son of Orange
and Blanche Harper Achor.
A Burlington resident for 37
years, he was owner of Achor
Trucking Company in
Burlington. He was a veteran of
World War II and a member of
Burlington American Legion
Post 414.
Survivors include one son,
Robert G. Achor of Rt. 1, Bunker
Hill; three brothers, Earl and
Wayne of Marion and Paul of Rt.
1, Cutler; three sisters, Mrs.
Florence Cala way of Marion,
Mrs. Lillian Potts of South Bend,
and Mrs. Vivian White of
Kokomo, and two grandsons.
Services will be at 2 p.m.
Thursday at Neptune Funeral
Home, Burlington, with Frankie
Philley officiating. Burial will be
in the Burlington Cemetery
where military graveside rites
will be held. Friends may call
after 2 p.m. Wednesday at the
funeral home.
