Mrs. Charles Benjamin (Lucille Franklin) Gant, 80, of 805 E. Johns St. died 9:55 p.m. Friday (March 31, 1978) in St. Mary's Hospital.

Funeral services will be in Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home. Burial will be in North Fork Cemetery.

Mrs. Gant was born in Louisville, daughter of General Howell and Amanda Franklin. She was a member of Westside Church of the Nazarene. She married Charles Benjamin Gant in 1922. He preceded in death.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. B.L. (Marilyn) Park of Decatur; brother, Ray Franklin of Rinard; sisters, Mrs. Karl (Hazel) Chambers of Springfield; Mrs. Gertrude McCullum of Chicago; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren.
