Mr. Baliff 63, died Thursday at St. Vincent Hospital. A graduate of Cicero High School, Ball State University, and Central Normal College, he had also served as a coach at Jackson Central High School and was principal at Cicero Elementary School.
He is survived by his widow, Rosalind, and two daughters, Rebecca Ann and Karen Sue, both at home. One sister, Mrs. Amy Harvey of Clearwater, Fla., also survives.
Mr. Baliff was a member of the Hinkle Creek Friends Church, Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, and the Indiana State Teachers Association.
He was the son of Newton J. and Elva (Stuart) Baliff.
