Sarah was married to Thomas Tangye/Tingey on Aug. 3, 1883 in Uinta, Weber County, Utah. Thomas died July 1, 1893 and is buried in the Kaysville Cemetery. Sarah and Thomas had three children: Eliza Jane on Jul. 4, 1885; Elizabeth Ann on Oct. 8, 1888 and lastly, William Henry on Nov. 8, 1890.
Sarah later married William Cake on Jan. 22, 1894 in Ogden. William later died on Jun. 7, 1920 in California and is buried in the Los Angeles National Cemetery.
Sarah died Mar. 14, 1922 at the Roy County Infirmary in Roy, Weber County, Utah and was buried in the Ogden City Cemetery on March 16, 1922.
