She was the daughter of W. F. Vandruff and Bunn Shannon Vandruff. In Jan. of 1909, she married James Clarence Jones at Pawhuska. He preceeded her in death in February of 1947. She had attended school in Osage and had lived in New Mexico with her husband for a year before returning to this area where they farmed. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Blackburn.
Surviving Mrs. Jones are Mrs. Chester (Mildred) Thornton, Ramona, her daughter. Two sisters, Mrs. Cloyd (Jessie) Scott, Houston and Mrs. Charlie (Edna) Hale, Downey, California. One granddaughter, Brenda Garrett resides in Houma, Louisiana with her children Christie and James Clifford, great-grandchildren of Mrs. Jones.
